The Barkworld pet expo was outside and there were so many booths with all sorts of neat things for us dogs. However, it was so hot for us doggies that I wasn’t in the best mood. And also, why do you humans feel the need to have fake grass ….astro turf really!?!? That stuff freaked me out! Anyway I wanted to tell you a little bit about my fav booths.
–Annamarie Johnson artwork! She drew pictures of us and the money raised went to the Dogs for the Paws project. She paints pictures of dogs who have been rescues. Her goal is that this project will cause people to visit rescues when considering adding a new loved one to their family. Here is a picture of me with her as well as the photo that she drew. Isn’t she a great artist!
–Atlanta Humane Society. First of all they had the coolest booth hands down! They had a doggie swimming pool! So what does any good dog do..jumps right in. I didn’t know that the pool was a game and that for a donation I got a prize. So needless to say the parents did pay for me to play since I was already in the water! I won a toy and got cooled off. Here are some photos of me enjoying the water.
– Leesia The photography. If you’re ever in the Atlantic area with your pets you need to set up a photo session with Leesia! She is an amazing talented pet photographer. She caught me in the pool!
– Doggie Baggage This is a new company that has a great idea. It is hard to find a good bag to keep all our doggie stuff in when we travel. So they designed bags around our needs! Mom got me a large tote to try out!
–Bowser Beer—Yes you read that right there is beer for dogs. I tried it and I liked it! Mom was pretty cool about the whole thing since I’m underage and all (I’m a 1 and ½).
I loved the expo and I hope you visit some of the vendors sites. They are all very passionate about us animals and have quality products!
