Barkworld (1 of 5) — The Hotel

Written by Rachel Phelps

Last weekend I got to go to Barkworld expo in Atlanta Georga!  Let’s just say I had the so much fun!  Barkword was at Atlantic Station a trendy part of mid-town Atlanta.   This place is urban living at its best.  There are plenty of shops, a Target, grocery store, Ikea, movies, and even a  dog park! If you had a job at Atlantic Station  I don’t think you would even need a car!   We finally arrived in Atlanta around midnight (more blogs to come about my GMCBarkNRide experience with MaggieTkat’s mom) and checked into Hotel 12 the official conference hotel.  First, this hotel was pet friendly which you animals know is hard to find.  They even gave me a treat at the front desk, yum!!!   But when we got to our room I thought oh WOW.  This room was so nice.  We had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and even a kitchen table.  We had a living room area , a balcony, a big closet and a huge bathroom with a big tub (which comes in handy later!) and a standalone shower.  There was a computer and free wii-fi!  I was living the high life.  Here are some photos!

I quickly made myself at home on the bed.  Since none of my brother and sister cats came with us I had the bed to myself. I even slept on the bed a couple of nights.  At home I can’t do because the cats bugging me and make me bark which wakes up the parents.  I even went out on the balcony one day.  We were so high up (six stories) but what a view.  Now I know why the cats are always up on the furniture at home.
