Millie Bush Dog Park – Houston, Texas

Written by Rachel Phelps

Recently, while traveling to the Amazing Houston Pet Expo, I insisted that my rents take me to the Millie Bush Dog Park.  It is located at 16756 Westheimer Parkway in Houston, TX.  This dog park is top notch!  There are over 100 parking spots for our humans (no excuses from them that they can’t find a spot!).  It is over eight acres and is fenced in with both a large and small dog park area.  Plus, there are THREE lakes we can play in.  I had so much fun running and playing that I actually sprained my leg and Mom made me go home when I started limping.  But don’t worry, after an evening of rest I was back to my Westie self.  Here are some snapshots of all the fun I had.

For a weekday afternoon, there was a lot of dogs at the park!

I played a good game of chase with this big dog.  And you know I won!

I was one tired pup after a fun afternoon at the Houston Millie Bush Dog Park.  If you’re in the area you have to stop by!
