Preston Cares NetworkThe Preston Cares Network (PCN) is project lead by PrestonSpeaks.com to show the world few people who join together can make a difference in the lives of animals. PCN is network of caring people and bloggers to help animals. If you’re a rescue group, and you would like us to feature you, please send an e-mail to PrestonCares@PrestonSpeaks.com. This will be a great opportunity to gain additional exposure for your favorite rescue group or shelter.

As an Amazing Pet Expo official blog ambassador we learn about wonderful animal rescue organizations that will be at upcoming shows.  Grateful Paws Dog and Cat Rescue is one of those that will be at the Miami Pet Expo show May 11th  at the Miami Airport Convention Center  from 10 am – 6 pm with great animals available for adoption.

About the Greatful Paws Dogs and Cat Rescue

We are a local No-Kill, 501c3, Not-for-Profit animal rescue group of volunteers, who rescues animals and places them in foster homes while awaiting new forever homes. We are saving them… one at a time.

Meet Angel Baby a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Terrier Mix

FL595.25460149-1-xThis delightful little gal was turned over to  Grateful Paws when her human passed.  Her demeanor reflects the care and love her previus owner gave her.  She is simply delightful — calm, quiet, sweet tempered and waiting for a new forever home.

She is about 5-6 years old — and is full grown at about 8 lbs, has been spayed, wormed, bathed, micro-chipped and waiting for a new forever home. Angel would be best in a home without small children. While she is mostly housetrained and does go outside, her former owner did use wee wee pads for her…

Delightful personality and absolutely no problems.  Foster mom says she is NO trouble — and will make someone a great pet. Loves to snuggle – a real lap dog. – She has also lived with cats and is fine with them too!

Meet Eddie a Jack Russell Terrier

FL595.25223825-3-xThis handsome little Jack Russell fellow is a DELIGHT!

EDDIE is 2 years old, and full grown at about 19 lbs.  He is happy, loves other dogs (not sure about cats) but loves people and kids.  He would make a great family pet. As in all Jacks, he is full of energy… so he would do best in a home where he can be active; either with another dog, or a parent who is a runner, jogger, biker — or someone who is able to give him lots of exercise.  REMEMBER:  A tired dog is a well behaved dog! He needs some training and someone with the patience to work with him.

Sweet little guy — he has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped — and is ready to go into his new forever home.

He is living in a foster home in FTL and will be at our adoption events.  We can ALSO  make it possible for you to meet him on a work night…

So stop by Grateful Paws Dog and Cat Rescue booth at the Miami Pet Expo and say Preston sent you!

  • Our adoption fee for dogs is $125 and $90 for cats, regardless of whether the pet is a pure breed or a mixed breed. All of our pets are Vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, wormed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and micro-chipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health! To adopt a pet from All Paws, or to find more information on one of our pets, visit us at any adoption event, e-mail us at adopt@allpawsrescue.info, write us, or call us on the PAWS Line at 636-288-2999. Because we are a foster home network, we make efforts to meet adopters at times and places convenient to all involved. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption form, for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to own a pet. After the pre-adoption form is reviewed and OK’d, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation; but reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities, and the pet’s needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption, a happy and satisfactory one!
