Saturday Evening at Barkworld (5 of 5)

(To catch up please read part 1) , Part 2), Part 3 and part 4.
After the expo at Barkworld  we ran over to the conference area for the raffle ticket drawing.  Each ticket sold for $1 with all money going to the Atlanta Humane Society.  My parents bought  10 tickets and I won twice!  They won a pair of tickets to an attraction going on at Atlantic Station and some items from frugaldougal from England!   They gave away some pretty nifty stuff even $300 to use on American airlines.    However, after that they drew for a consultation with Ven Diagram and Catherine Ventura a social media strategist.  Guess what I WON!!!!! So she is going to work with me, my CIO (daddy) and COO (mommy) on my website.  I am so excited.  She is going to help us with achieving our blog goals!  It is an amazing opportunity and I can’t wait!
After the drawing there was another keynote with Lynn Heigh the founder of Pawpawty.  I was hoping @frugaldougal would be there but he didn’t make the long trip from England.  To learn more about paw party read my previous post.  Next on the agenda was show and tell in which we met the Shibbering Cheetos a twitter band who raised money for pet charities, Niqqu who makes short you tube videos, Anipal Times an daily online newspaper for the online animal world, and @Imajackrussel who is the subject of two children’s books. Finally, we can’t forget Chilidawg (what a cool name!) an online pet celebrity.
To end the day was yappyhour featuring the Da Shibbering Cheetos.  But I was just too tired and went back to the hotel to have a nap.

After my nap I went back to the dog park and played in the off leash area.  And what did I do…head to the biggest mud puddle. The parents said well you have to now get a bath so might as well get as muddy as you want.  I took them up on that.  Here I am back at the hotel about to get cleaned up.

Overall I truly enjoyed Barkworld and want to go back next year!   My only suggestion to Barkworld is to have more events inside or hold the conference at another time of the year.  August in Atlanta was just too hot for this pampered pooch!
