I have HUGE news my pals! I just received word that I, Sir Preston Peabody, is a 2014 Best Dog Blog finalist for a Pettie! These are annual awards given by DogTime Media to recognize the best of the pet blogging community.
Since I know you all are loyal readers of my website, you already know that I have been nominated in the past as well (2013 and 2012). In fact, I am the only current dog blog finalist that was also nominated for the past two years … so we must be doing something right … hehehe. Last year, I worked super hard and campaigned across the country to get your vote. I worked for days on my nomination acceptance speech (A Vote for Me, is a Vote for Dogs – Petties Best Dog Blog Finalist Acceptance Speech) and I admit I was one sad dog when I fell short last year. I was very sad, and Mom said I was difficult to be around and acted like a 6 month old pup moping around the house for a week. I even refused to brush my fur and only wore hoodies. But I know that this year, HAS to be the year of Preston.
Starting this weekend, I am hitting the road to get the word out that a Vote for me, is a Vote for Dogs. I debated and debated on whom I would give it to if I am lucky enough to win. After much deliberation and talking with the rents, I plan to … well, you will have to watch my blog to learn who I want to give the money to.
