It has been a while since there was a Westie Walk in Indianapolis, so we (The Preston Cares Network) will be hosting an meetup event to bring Westie owners together for a fun-filled afternoon. And we want you to attend!

Westie Walk Indy Meetup Details
Westie Walk Indy is a casual meetup on Saturday, October 17th to walk together with our dogs at the Canal Walk in downtown Indianapolis. We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 a person to help a group of westie volunteers (see below). This is a three-mile paved loop. Feel free to walk some or even all of them and everyone can go at their own pace. We will meet in the parking lot of St. Mary Learning Center (address) at 2:30 pm. There are no parking fees to attend as St. Mary’s is graciously allowing us to use their lot free of charge. The walk together will start promptly at 3 pm.
The Cause
Due to the uncertain future of Westie Rescue Indiana, volunteers have had to step-up in the interim to help westies south of Indianapolis and in all of Kentucky. They are currently using their own funds to make sure westies stay out of shelters and find new homes. To assist this effort, we are collecting donations from walkers to help them with veterinary expenses until the issues with Westie Rescue Indiana can be resolved. Please consider attending this event to help these dedicated volunteers.

Hi Preston….long time, no bark!
This is the first we have heard of this. Have you contacted the Westies unite members or posted on FB? We would love to try to come, but don’t know if our mommy (Jeanie) is up to it….she doesnt walk very well these days…anyhoo…we will see.
