Meet Auro

Furry Friendzy Dallas, TX

Scraped this dog off of the road after he had been hit by a vehicle. Despite his discomfort (broken leg, road rash everywhere, bleeding from the mouth) he still managed to wag his tail enthusiastically as he was placed in the car. His back left femur had to be pinned due to the break. Since the pin has been removed he moves like it was never broken. He has been neutered and received his rabies vaccination. He is accustomed to being crated inside during the day. He has been exposed to horses, goats, cats, small and large dogs, llamas, and children. He can be rambunctious at times and occasionally gets excited when the cats run, so he may not be the best choice for a family with small children or if left unsupervised with cats for long periods of time. Otherwise he has no problems. He has never shown any aggression towards people or other animals. He is a very friendly, happy dog. He loves the water. He will chase sticks thrown into the pond. He enjoys soaking in the water tub outside. He plays well with other dogs. He especially like treats and toys that he can carry around with him.
