Recently, I visited the great city of Las Vegas, NV. Being the traveling dog I am, I had to go check out the Las Vegas Pet Store called Sniffany & Company. Their slogan is, “We treat your pet like royalty.” I had to check it out for myself.
First, the store is located at 6115 S. Rainbow Suite 105. They are open seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm. I promise it isn’t too far from the Las Vegas Strip.
Sniffany & Company is definitely a high-end pet store with many unique products living up to the “Tiffany’s” theme. They have items everywhere with bling including Swarovski crystal collars and jeweled dresses. If your dog needs a red carpet formal dress, this is the store. There were so many amazing doggie outfits and beds as well. Unfortunately, most items were for the ladies. I didn’t find much that matched my preppy male westie style.
My favorite part of Sniffany & Company was the doggie bakery. These fresh-baked pet treats are baked fresh in-store! There were so many good treats I couldn’t decide what to get. I wanted one of everything!
I also picked up a surprise for my very special lady dog friend Bella – but I can’t tell you yet what it is. Don’t worry, I’ll post photos soon!
While we were checking out and Dad was paying, Mom saw a bottle on the counter that said male dog cologne. She ambushed me and sprayed me twice! Then we went outside to eat my amazing treats and then went back into the car. However, the smell was getting stronger and stronger in the car and Dad asked Mom, “What is that smell?!?!” Then Mom kind of mumbled, “it is Preston … sorry”. Two sprays on a small dog wasn’t a good idea at all. It was way, way, too strong.
During all of this, I had a case of gas and you know how bad that smells from a dog. We had a toxic mix of fumes. Mom and Dad had to roll down all the windows and open the sunroof to try to get oxygen into the car so Dad didn’t pass out driving. I think I taught Mom never to spray me with doggie cologne again!
Overall, Sniffany & Company is one Las Vegas pet store definitely worth stopping at the next time you’re in Sin City. Especially if you have a little girl dog since they have so many designer looking dresses. Also, if you try the cologne or perfume, make sure you only use one squirt – unless they are a really big dog!
