The big game is in a week … you know the one – the Superbowl. It is the one where the humans all huddle around the TV, eat lots of yummy food, and based on what team is winning, either cheer them on or say things under their breath our ears aren’t meant to hear. Well, there another really cool event just for us dogs to have our own fun called SuperDog Sunday!
My pals at Event Barkers host an annual charitable event in which 100% of the proceeds from sponsors benefit the Petfinder Foundation. For those who don’t know about Petfinder, it is an amazing website where you can search through thousands and thousands of pets up for adoption to find your perfect new friend.
As a part of this great event they are also hosting a photo contest. Before you say … but Preston, we don’t stand a chance against your cute photos, don’t worry. I can’t enter because I’m part of the SuperDog Cheer Squad … hehehe.
So, we are calling on YOU to e-mail in a photo of your pet with a football theme to Eventbarkers@gmail.com. You can actually dress up your pet or you can spare us having to dress up in embarrassing costumes by using a photo-editing program to add some football flair.
