Katie and Tug invite customers to donate in Colorado 272x300 Best Friends angel tree helps homeless petsI love when companies help out my homeless pals!  My friends at Best Friends Pet Care is currently collecting donations of supplies, food and treats, as well as cash, for more than fifty community animal shelters and rescue groups.  Each of its forty-two pet care centers has an Angel Tree in its lobby with paper ornaments featuring photos and information about dogs and cats waiting for forever homes.  Pet lovers can visit or call a Best Friends location to select a dog or cat from the tree and donate to the wish list on its card. The program runs through December 31st, with deliveries being made to the shelters throughout the holiday season. Best Friends supplements donations with food and other supplies.
