As you all know, I love kids or human puppies as I call them! They are always ready to play and they are the right size for me! Well, I just learned about a new contest sponsored by Pets Add Life just for human puppies. They are inviting students in grades 3rd through 8th to submit a unique poem about their pet or pets- be it a dog, cat, gerbil…bearded dragon, or my favorite a West Highland White Terrier (hint, hint). The poem only needs to tell what they love about owning a pet and the joy the pets add to their lives.
So tell all the human puppies that you know they need to submit their poems online via the Pets Add Life website or by mail (The deadline for submission is January 31, 2012.
One student from each grade level (6 total) nationwide will win a $250 gift certificate for pet products AND a “by-line” in a nationally circulated publication! In addition, the six winning students’ classrooms will each win a $1,000 scholarship to spend on pet related education.
