Shelter Dog Makeovers

Written by Rachel Phelps

Our Pals at Hartz Pets in honor of Petfinder.com Adopt-A-Less Adoptable-Pet week went out to the Animal Care and Control of New York City and did doggie makeovers! They were able to capture the makeovers of four very special dogs on video and we wanted to share the results with you: As you well know, many dogs do not get all the care necessary while in shelters due to the costs associated with grooming. If they don’t look their best it does decrease their likelihood of adoption, and Hatrz Pets (and us!) believes every dog deserves an equal chance!

There are four videos so check them out. I think mom has fallen in love with Fluffy! hehehehe

  • I love Hartz bathing products!! Ma used the oatmeal shampoo on me and Jenny Sue last night for our baths. The shampoo smells so good and makes me so soft and not itchy. Jenny Sue had a been so itchy she was rubbing her belly raw. Ma gave her a nice long bath and let the shampoo sit on her a while she came out feeling great. She hasn’t been scratching or anything.
    I love the videos Preston!
