This week is shelter appreciation week and I wanted to take a time out to say a heart felt big doggie THANK YOU to all the shelters, employees, and volunteers who put in countless hours to support their local shelter. You all do an amazing job and save so many of my doggie and cat pals from being put down each day. I know at times it can be rough and no one likes to deal with dog and cat poop and cleaning crates but all of us pets salute you! We thank you from the bottom of our doggie hearts.
I have one group who I want to give a special Preston two paws up shout out to.
It is is Westie Rescue Southeast (WRSE). This group is just amazing! They are very dedicated to saving the little white dogs like me! They find amazing forever homes. We have loved fostering with them. WRSE is currently conducting a fundraiser in which they are selling tee-shirts,magnets, aprons, and a WRSE cookbook. I submitted my favorite treat recipe so you will have to check it out and pick up a copy today! Here is a link to the online store.
