I was one tired puppy after yesterday adventure. Mommy and daddy had a hard time waking me up and I kept falling back to sleep while they were getting ready. I learned from yesterday take naps whenever possible, who knows what crazy adventure I’m going on next. I also decided I needed to dress up more since mom said we were shopping so I wore my sharp red polo. We started out the day looking in the stores around our hotel. Mommy got a watch from Swatch and I got made over and petted. They let me in the store! Here in Kentucky I can’t go anywhere. We went to Lush a soap store and they actually gave me dog treats! I also had to stick my nose in the bath bombs and soap and gosh you humans spend a lot of energy covering up your smells. Us doggies like to well smell like —– “doggie” hehe. After shopping we went to Chinatown! Chinatown was crazy… the sidewalks were so narrow because the stores set their items out in front. There was a couple of times I thought I was going to get stepped on. But I did like that they put fish and meat on my level. I tried to grab a bite but mom was too quick. They even had chicken feet but mom again wouldn’t let me get any.

After alot of searching the parents finally found a great Chinese restaurant that had a balcony and let me hang out. Here is a picture of me at the restaurant with Chinatown in the background.

Mom even let me sample the food. I had some sweet and sour chicken (yum), a piece of an egg roll, and a bit of a fortune cookie. Everything was delicious! After Chinatown we found a Chinese pet store. Here is the sign I thought was cool!

Mom found me a dark blue kong to add to my collection and I picked out a cat toy to take home for my brother and sister cats. After Chinatown I was dragging so I went back to the hotel for a nap while the parents went on a street car to the Castro district. This is the center of America’s most vibrant gay and lesbian communities. However, I sent them on a mission to find the totally awesome pet store “Best in Show.” According to mommy the store was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They had alot of unique and high quality products. Mom went a little crazy hehehe. She got a shirt for her that says “dogs are the new kids” and a cool hoodie for me. Here I am modeling it.

Aren’t I so Abercrombe and Fitch BOL. She also got me a red reflective collar and leash and a Texas toothpick. For those who don’t know a toothpick is a cows tail. It totally grossed out mom but boy was it good! I also heard that while i was napping daddy took mommy for a romantic tapas meal to have some alone time without me! How dare he! 🙂
