2015 Global Pet Expo Recap @globalpetexpo

I had so much fun at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando that I wanted to share with you some of the great products I tested, brands I met, and neat experiences I had!  First, Global Pet Expo is a big pet industry trade show not open to the public in which brands showoff their products to  buyers (think Petco, TJMaxx, Target, etc.) and also to independent pet stores.  This is where stores decide what you see when you go shopping in their pet aisles.  There is also a big contest to crown the best new pet products.  I attend as doggie press!

First, I was on TV!  I was a demo dog on the Orlando Fox 35 morning show. I drank doggie tea live on air and my dad talked (he wasn’t expecting the mic in his face … hehehe).  I really liked the tea (as long as it was chilled … I’m an ice tea type dog).  To learn more about the tea, go to Tea For Spot.

My pals at Dexas won the dog “best in show” new product award with this awesome product.  It is called a Snack Duo-O.  The container is divided in half, one side for our water and the other for our food!  Plus, it has a bowl attached. My bestie Rachael Ray (ok, technically I have never met her, but surely she knows about me … hehehe) has new Nutrish dog treats they debuted at Global Pet Expo and they are grain free!  They are called Beefy Tips and Chk’n DrumStix.  Oh my dog, they are delicious!  To learn more, go to:  Rachael Ray Nutrish

Now when I saw this, I knew I had to have some fun with it.  I told Mom to take a photo of me with it.  I bet I am the only one who took a photo who has actually ever had to wear a cone of shame!  I am glad you humans had a good laugh at us poor pets expense!  But seriously, I thought this was a great idea at the Dog is Good booth!

Next, I was on a mission to find a comfortable but stylish dog bed.  Enchanted Home Pets didn’t let me down.  Look at this bed!  To see all their other awesome beds, go to their website at Enchanted Home Pets.

Finally, I had to test out some dog toys.  This big ball from Tuggo was perfect to let off some steam after a long day on the show floor.  They do have a smaller ball but I wanted no part of it.  I had to play with the big dog version!  For more information, go to: Tuggo Dog Toys.

Overall, Global Pet Expo was a blast! I got to see all the new pet products.  How better to know if your new product will be successful that to receive honest feedback from a press dog?! … hehehe.
