VetIQ Minties and Vetguard Plus Review

Written by Rachel Phelps

Recently, my pals from VetIQ reached out and asked what I use to keep my teeth pearly white.  I told them Mom tries to brush my teeth regularly, but I have a dental chew/treat every day.  They decided to send me some of their VetIQ Minties dental chews to try out.

These dental chews are made in the USA and they come in four different sizes: tiny, small, medium, and large.  The right size for me is small (or as I like to call, “Westie sized”).  They smelled really good so that helped with my breath (I will not confirm or deny that I may have doggie breath).  These chews contain alfalfa, parsley, fennel, dill, and peppermint.  They also help to clean my breath because they take a long time for me to chew up.  VetIQ says that the mechanical action of chewing helps remove plaque and tarter from my teeth.  For you pups with allergies, VetIQ Minties do not contain wheat, soy, or corn.  They come in

Apparently, VetIQ also heard about my problems with fleas.  If you didn’t know, I’m very allergic to them.  If I get just one flea bite, I swell up and have welts on my belly.  To help with this, VetIQ sent me a box of their VetGuard Plus for dogs to try out. I already use a topical flea and tick treatment every month like a good pup to keep those evil fleas away.  They told me that VetGuard not only kills and repels fleas, ticks and mosquitos, but it also prevents those flea eggs from growing up and drinking my blood!  The best part is that VetGuard is valued priced.  That means more money in Mom’s pocketbook to buy me treats and toys!  VetGuard comes in small, medium, large, extra large, and is even available for cats too.
