It is treat giveaway time! Are the mouths of my pup pals salivating yet? No? … well wait until I tell you about the amazing Zukes treats I am giving away this month!! If you follow my website, you know I’m a huge fan of Zukes and I haven’t found one of their products I haven’t liked!
- Skinny Bakes – These treats are for the more “big boned” pups out there. I guess you can say my brother Elvis is more of the big Westie size. He has to watch his figure because we can’t have him grow out of his t-shirts! These Skinny Bakes crunchy treats are only ten calories per treat. These treats are on the petite side so they are also great as a training treat. Skinny bakes are made in the USA, they are vegan (so also meat-free), and do not contain any wheat, corn, or soy. So this means they are great for those pups that may have allergies.
- Mini Naturals – These Zukes treats are the ultimate training treats. They come in several yummy flavors including duck, roasted pork, wild rabbit, salmon, peanut butter, and roasted chicken. These USA made treats are moist and only contain 3.5 calories per treat. They are also very healthy with nutrient-rich cherries, rosemary, and turmeric, which are powerful, wholefood, sources of antioxidants. I can also personally attest that they are yummy, as I have tried almost every flavor!
But SIT, STAY – don’t leave yet! My pals at Zuke’s are giving YOU a chance to win a pack of both Skinny Bakes and Mini Naturals! Oh my dog!

We have to! Huffle thinks if a thing is worth doing, it’s worth us paying him treats to do it. 🙂
We have tried unsuccessfully to use treats as part of training. This dog needs professional training. But I still give Sorcha treats for being her.
Mini Naturals – peanut butter
I don’t use treats to train. My dog is 10 years old and beyond being trained. But… he loves treats!
Salmon minis sound good, please don’t send rabbit ones. I have a rabbit…..I don’t try to train Sorcha anymore. She is pretty much untrainable or she needs professional training that I cannot afford. She is a husky/German Shepherd mix.
Folly is untrainable, but she has to have her treats! I do use them to get her in the house at times.
We use treats when we train, but not for everything.
Sally the Westie would love the duck flavored ones. She just started Doggie school and we do use treats in training.
I like to use treats to keep my dogs motivated and focused.
I use treats to get them to come when called.
We use treats just for treats.
Mini Salmon are what all4 of my dogs love for fun and for ttraining we love your treats.
Yes indeed I do!! I have to!! Because she has a lot of things she needs to work on out in the world but she’s a great dog no matter what any1 thinks or says!, & I think she likes the Roasted chicken mini naturals flavor, they are starting to become one of her favs now, I just started using this brand with her, but she loves a lot of them just the same!! 🙂

We used to use treats to train Folly.
Well, no. She’s hopeless LOL

Yes when training Vix I did use treat based training. I still do when she needs a refresher. She’s 12 now though so there’s not too much training involved but when I get a 2nd dog I will use the same reward based training.
No, not to train but to get her to come inside. 🙂
I use treats when I want to reinforce a “good” behaviour so yes I do use them for training.
I use treats to make her happy, because they don’t work for anything else. hahaha
I have in the past. My silly dog needs professional training though. I still just give her treats for being her.
Yes, but she only responds to certain things. Some treats she hides in the couch and others she’ll do tricks for (the stinkier the better).
I did use treats to teach her to roll over, but she doesn’t like that.
I like to reward my dogs with treats during training.
I have in the past. I usually just give her treats daily with my kitties.
Yes, I use treats for training my dogs, but I also use praise.
I use treats to tell her she’s a good girl if she listens to something I’ve told her to do!
I use treats, but not every time I want them to do something.
Treats for training and just because! 🙂
We give her treats to make her feel special, not particularly for training.
Salmon would probably be a big hit with my one dog who has skin sensitivities.
I use treats more as a bribe than training.
I like to give my dogs treats for working so hard while they are training.
In the past I have but not anymore. My dog needs proffessional training.
