Go Dog Tough for Fun Toy Review

Written by Rachel Phelps

I love soft toys!  I am respectful of them and hardly ever destroy them.  However, my brother Elvis, the website intern, takes soft toys as a challenge to destroy.  So needless to say, when Elvis came to live with us all my favorite soft toys had to go into hiding or they would have met their ultimate demise.  When my pals at the Quaker Pet Group told me they had a new soft toy that would stand up to even Elvis, I was of course very skeptical.  So I told them to send it to me but I cant make any promises.

They sent me this cute pink elephant Go Dog Tough For Fun toy with Chew Guard technology.  I LOVED it.  It was a great size for me and I had a lot of fun playing with it.  Plus, it had not one, but TWO squeakers!  I took it with me to an Amazing Pet Expo and played with it while my staff set up my booth.  From my perspective, I give two paws up.

However, I admit I was scared to turn over my new toy to my brother.  I didn’t want him ruining it.  I told my pals at Quaker that and they said don’t worry, the toy has chew guard technology.  They said they added a super tough, durable liner, and all the seams are double stitched and reinforced.  Also, the best part is that they said if Elvis (or any dog) destroys one of their toys, if you just e-mail them a photo of the destroyed toy they will send a free replacement.  This means there is no risk to try it out.

I gave it to Elvis and he went to town on it and tried to get to the stuffing.  One tip I suggest is to go ahead and cut off the tag (that seems to be what Elvis always goes for first).  So far, the toy has stood up to the Elvis test so they really must be tough.  Plus, it helps to know that if Elvis does destroy it, my pals at Quaker will send me another one.
