Charlie is Adopted!

Written by Rachel Phelps

My foster brother Charlie has some big news he wanted to share with you all. If you’re behind on my blog you can read my interview with Charlie here. Charlie the Interview.

Charlie went back to his first foster family yesterday up in Evansville. Yep, they decided they can’t live with out Mr. Charlie!!!! He has a brother and sister Westie there so he will have plenty of friends to play with every day! I admit I really, really, really miss him. He was my mini-me. We played together, ate together, slept together, and even got in trouble together. But for the record I still have no idea how that box of tissues got destroyed that mom found today upstairs! It has been a quiet day and I am so bored without Charlie. After asking the rents to throw the ball like 50 times they said enough is enough go entertain yourself. So what does any good blogging dog do..go online! So I have decided I need to add on some additional requirements to the adoption contracts of all my foster brother and sisters:

  1. (Insert dog’s name) agrees to keep in touch with Preston and have regular play dates.
  2. (Insert dog’s name) agrees to send pictures at least monthly to Preston so he knows he or she is truly happy and healthy.
  3. (Insert dog’s name) must read PrestonSpeaks.com every day so he doesn’t miss out anything going on at Preston’s house.
  4. (Insert dog’s name) must create a Facebook and Dogster account and friend Preston. This is so Preston and (Insert dog’s name) can still talk about important doggie things without the parents knowing.
  5. (Insert dog’s name) agrees to be Preston’s backup if he gets into a dog fight and to be part of Preston’s posse. It is not like I would get into a fight but every good dog always needs backup.
  6. (Insert dog’s name) agrees not to talk to Us Weekly, OK, or any other gossip magazines about living with a celebrity dog (me). No matter how many treats they offer to give you you can’t tell them where my secret bones are buried!
  7. (Insert dog’s name) agrees to be happy and not miss Preston and his rents too much because the perfect forever home was picked out for you from the rescue and foster home that loves you so much!

My mini-me Charlie, we will miss you man! But we know you have the most perfect home for you!
