Today I’m at the boarding kennel with Elvis and my foster sister Maddie waiting for the rents to get back. Good thing they have wii-fii and I was able to bring my i-bone or it would be one very long weekend. Elvis is crying in the next condo over (kennel) saying I want my mommy why did she leave us?!?!? He needs to buck it up and be a dog (not a puppy)..they will come back! I told him to bring some of his toys but he didn’t listen to me! Maddie is like whatever, I’m taking a nap. But anyway, my rents are off to go to Show Me the Blog in St. Louis to be a featured speaker. Mommy is leading a breakout session called: Pet Blogging ..All Bark and Byte. Your probably wondering what is Show Me the Blog? It is a conference for social media enthusiasts in the Midwest to network, share information, exchange resources, and learn from one another.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a pet friendly conference..no fair!! The hotel and conference center has a rule NO DOGS ALLOWED…how rude. So I have to stay at home but I sent flat Preston to cover the event and give you all the scoop. It is a big mix of bloggers including mommy, business, food, and now pets. I checked out the website and don’t tell mom but so far she only has a few to sign up for her session (not many people are online yet). So I need all you guys help to get the word out that mom has a really cool session planned. She has giveaways, and the rumor is there will even be a very rare puppy photo of me during the PowerPoint. Flat Preston will also be present for photo opps and to oversee everything.
The conference is at the Lumiere Place and Hotel (a casino) on the Mississippi river. So I gave mom some of my allowance and said to put it in a slot machine for me and if I win..it is going toward my fence fund. (I am saving to fence in my yard).
