Remembering 9/11

Written by Rachel Phelps

Today is a very sad day for us American’s. It was ten years ago today that our country was attacked and we lost almost 3,000 people due to a terrorist attack. I wasn’t born yet but I can see how it affects my rents and my human friends. It was a day that would change America forever. They say people lost the ability to be carefree, to be trusting, and to not be fearful that another attack could happen again. I have flown and every person (and even dogs) have a constant reminder when you go through airport security that there are bad people out there that want to hurt us. The world changed forever on 9/11/01.
