It has been brought to my attention that I forgot to mention some very important news about my foster brother Elvis. HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED. He is going to a great home where I live here in Owensboro. His new mom and dad are very involved in rescue work and volunteers with several animal welfare organizations So they are knowledgeable on Elvis’s special needs a being a puppy mill survivor. When they met him and spent time with him they fell in love with him and had to have him! He has a new brother..also a westie and three brother and sisters cats as well to chase. His new family has big plans for him. He is going to start obedience classes and continue to work on his house breaking. They also want to take him traveling with him. He has already gone to St. Louis, visited a local festival, and even stayed in a hotel room for the first time!
I will really miss the little guy…I hope we stay in touch….
I got you!! He is right here beside me..We are his new family! My parents and I have officially joined the failed fostering club and Elvis is now my very own brother. He is now a Phelps and we are keeping his name Elvis. At first we weren’t found of the name but Elvis grew into his name and he will always be Elvis in our eyes. Mom ordered a new ID tag and it came in last week. Elvis wears it proudly! He told me he knew all long this was his forever home it just took a while for the parents to realize it 🙂
