Meet Maddie! Isn’t she a cutie! She is from Port St. Lucie, Florida. Maddie is nine years young! She earned an Honorable Mention in the Iams Senior Plus Play Young Stay Young contest. Here is her story written by her dad Dennis:
Maddie loves to play tennis ball fetch and return games, but here is the thing: As if making me move more around, make me exercise more, she returns the tennis ball every time–and places it 7 feet away from me regardless of direction, always 7 or 8 feet away even if I threw the ball 30 yards, 80 yards, always 7 feet away. And then she sits and guards it from her playmates, refusing to let them approach, and I have to go over to the ball and retrieve it each time.
I wish some of these Iams honorable mention winners lived closer to me. I want to go play fetch with her some time! I also hope that when I’m nine years old I will be so full of energy and can still play such a mean game of fetch just like Maddie!
