Three Dog Bakery Review

Written by Rachel Phelps

Recently, a really neat pet bakery, Three Dog Bakery, sent me some treats to try out. When the box arrived, I quickly realized these were not your everyday dog treats. These were special, so I decided to use them to have a doggie picnic! I had everything planned out. My one and only Bella was staying at my house for a few days and we were going to have a picnic. Unfortunately, my Mom wound up getting the stomach bug so the picnic was canceled. So Bella went home, and I had all these amazing treats and no one to share them with.

Well, Mom had a great idea. She asked “How about you have a family picnic and we can invite Elvis?” I thought about it and decided what the heck, it will be fun and I still get to eat the treats! For the main course, we had Three Dog Bakery’s Gracie’s gourmet ready to eat entrée for dogs. My flavor sample was chicken, carrots, green beans and rice. It is wheat free, all natural, had tender meats, tasty veggies, and nutritious rice. The entrées are fortified with vitamins & minerals and are 100% complete and balanced. It doesn’t have any animal by-products, added sugar, added salt, or wheat gluten. Also, it doesn’t have artificial preservatives, flavors, or additives. Basically, it doesn’t have any of the bad stuff. There are several different flavors available. All I can say about the one I tried is yum, yum, yum!
picnic_elvisYou can’t have a picnic without fruit. The Strawberry Creams all natural dog treats are amazing! First of all, the package is awesome – it is made to look like a carton of strawberries! The treats are oven baked wafers with real strawberry and cream flavors! They have wheat flour, honey, canola oil, cane molasses, natural strawberry flavor, whole egg powder, red carmine, baking soda, and natural preservatives. These were so good! I told mom we need to order more NOW before we had even finished the package!!

Finally, for dessert we had oven baked classic crème all natural dog treats. But honestly, they look just like human cookies to me! They didn’t have any added salt, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. The flavor we tried was carob cookies with natural peanut butter filling! In case you didn’t notice from the photos, instead of flowers, we had a bully stick arrangement … hehehe. I had a lot of fun at my picnic and me and Elvis behaved well and didn’t bicker. We highly suggest you try out Three Dog Bakery’s great products. Your dog will thank you, trust me!
