I admit it, I have allergies. I take a pill every day, I get hot spots, and I lick my paws. My westie dog siblings Elvis and Daisy also have allergies. Mom’s says it is a westie curse and most of us suffer from them. Soon, I’m going to have a full allergy test done to see what it is I am allergic too. Elvis has already had an allergy test and he is allergic to so many things that he is very limited on what kind of food he can eat. His allergies include wool, salmon, and cockroaches (I know weird … hehehe). So when my pals at Nutrish sent me a really neat package of Zero Grain Beef with Bison, Elvis was excited because he could actually taste test. I was also happy because I have never eaten bison, and they sent me a toy to play with. They know the way to my heart, a good meal and a squeaky toy … hehehe.
Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Beef and Bison has what my vet calls a novel protein source. This means it gives us pups with allergies some options for food. It is made with simple, natural ingredients like U.S. farm-raised beef and bison with no grains, no poultry by-product meal, and no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. So in other words, our rents know exactly what is in our food and can be the protective parent keeping us away from those foods that trigger our allergies. As a result, us pups are happy and healthy.
My pal Rachael Ray helps pets
Another thing we love about Nutrish is Rachael Ray donates her personal proceeds to help shelter pets through her rescue, Rachael’s Rescue. This money goes towards food, medical supplies, and treatments for pets waiting for their forever homes. So far, she has donated over $9 million dollars … wow!
