As an Amazing Pet Expo official online ambassador we learn about wonderful animal rescue organizations that will be at upcoming shows. MSSO Mash Unit is one of those that will be at the Phoenix Pet Expo show on May 17th at the WestWold of Scottsdale from 10 am – 6 pm with great animals available for adoption.
About the MSCO Mash Unit
Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s no-kill animal shelter, MASH (Maricopa County Animal Safe Haven), was created in May of 2000 to house and care for animals that have been abused or neglected by their caretakers and have been rescued by the Animal Cruelty Investigative Unit. The purpose of the shelter is to provide a safe, healthy, and healing environment for these animals, who must await the outcome of their owner’s cruelty cases in court. Ultimately, the goal is to adopt these animals into loving, permanent homes.
Hi I’m Sandy
Sandy is a 12 year old white female feline that was adopted by a loving owner approximately 10 years ago and returned to the MASH Unit due to the owners personal matters. She is a shy but loving cat that once warmed up to you is a great lap cat. She and her sister had their ears and tails cut off while they were kittens which is how the MASH Unit acquired them. She and her sister will eat only Fancy Feast canned food as they were spoiled by their owner :-), but both are very healthy and great with other cats and people and looking for a loving home.
Hi I am Pearl!
Pearl is a sweet, talkative girl that seems to do well with other dogs but doesn’t like to share her toys.
So stop by MSSO Mash Unit booth at the Phoenix Pet Expo and say Preston sent you!
