My pals, this is a big weekend. Besides the Big Game (Yep, Mom said you can’t say the name of the actual game due to all these silly lawyer rules), there are some great pet-centered events going on as well! This little white dog is really looking forward to the Hallmark 1st Annual Kitten Bowl. It will be on TV from 12-3 ET/PT. There will also be encores all evening in case you miss it.
Yes, I’ll state the obvious, I’m a dog, so I will also be watching the puppy bowl later on in the day (I have my own Pet Age fantasy pup team … hehehe) but I have to show some love to the cats as well! This event is going to be a lot of fun to watch! It is being promoted as the “greatest feline showdown in cable television history”. The competition will consist of two preliminary playoffs and a championship match. Along with a basic obstacle course of hurdles, jumps, weave poles, lures, and toys on string, “Kitten Bowl” will feature clever locker room strategies, player profiles and “interviews”, and audio recordings from the kitten athletes as they play the game!
I am super, super, excited that Rachael Ray will also be on the show. As you know, I’m a huge Nutrish supporter and part of their influencer team. I have been eating the Nutrish dog food for a while and it is so yummy. But Rachael will have HUGE news at the kitten bowl!!! Since I already know the scoop, I will give you, my pals, some insider news … hehehe. She is releasing a whole line of Nutrish food just for cats! I can’t wait for my sibling cats to try it out and of course I want to steal a bit (I LOVE cat food … Yum!). Watch as she talks to her pal Beth Stern about the bowl and her new line of food.
