As an Amazing Pet Expo official blog ambassador we learn about wonderful animal rescue organizations that will be at upcoming shows. Golden Gate Basset Rescue is one of those that will be at the Bay Area Pet Expo show on March 23rd with great animals available for adoption.
About Golden Gate Basset Rescue
Golden Gate Basset Rescue is a foster based basset hound rescue group covering the whole of northern California (Fresno County and all places north, up to the Oregon border, and east into Nevada covering Reno and surrounding areas). We rescue, restore and rehome around 100 bassets a year on average.
Meet Bob
Bob is a very handsome, easy going and sweet Basset boy who wants a family to call his own! He is good with other dogs, great on a leash but will need some work on basic obedience. Bob is neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations. He has a sweet, easy disposition and would be happy in any household he goes into. Bob is a sweet boy who would make anyone happy.
Meet Sarah
Sarah is a lovely and beautiful 11-13 yr old lady with gorgeous lace ears that look as though they were dipped in paint. She loves people so much that she becomes attached to them easily, she is very sweet, loving, gentle and calm. Sarah likes going on walks but is a bit slow at times. She knows how to sit and come and LOVES belly rubs.
Sarah’s favorite toy is her bone which she will throw up in the air and chase, so cute!
She gets along great with other dogs but probably only as friends and not living together. She would not like to share her people with other dogs. Otherwise she is warm, cuddles so close and has the loveliest bay you have ever heard. Sarah also has perfected the art of sun bathing and would love to be somewhere to enjoy the sun rays from room to room.
