My pals at Chewy.com sent me another wonderful treat to test and report back my thoughts since I’m a master-level treat tester. To begin, I set up my tasting station. It was complete with a bucket to discharge any extra treats (that rarely happens) and a bowl of water to cleanse my pallet. This time I tested Duck and Potato Jerky Bars by Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance. These treats are designed with a limited number of protein and carbohydrate sources. They are also grain-free and designed for all breeds and life stages of dogs.
The ingredients are: Duck, Potato, Cane Molasses, Natural Flavor, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative), Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor, Rosemary Extract, and Zinc Propionate.
Drum Roll please … for the taste test results. I have discovered that duck is a fine meat for us dogs and for our treats. I gobbled them up (as did Elvis too!). I actually wish they had sent me two bags (hint, hint Chewy!).

Disclosure – The treats were provided to my rents and I free of charge. However, opinions expressed here are my own.
Yummmmm, Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie love Natural Balance jerky bar treats, too!
