K9 Highland Dog Chew Review

Being a young lad from the West Highland Hills of Scotland, I love pet items that come from the homeland!   When I received a package all the way from Scotland just for me, I was super excited.  Inside was the K9 Highland Dog Chew!!

NOTE (From Preston’s Mom):  Please note that Preston did not actually come from Scotland even though he thinks he did because he is a West Highland White Terrier. We can’t convince him that he was really born in Kentucky.  He insists on having his own kilt to wear on special occasions and is convinced his bark has a Scottish accent too!

The K9 Highland Dog Chews are amazing!  They sent me a standard size and a half size to try out.   These great chews are long lasting and all natural!  They are made with 100% fresh non-fat local (Scotland) cow’s milk and produced to human food grade standards.  This means these bones contain all the natural calcium, protein, vitamins, and minerals of cheese.

I have to say, these chews are amazing!  I was in chew heaven.  When I wasn’t chewing on it, I carried it around and hid it so my brother Elvis wouldn’t put his slobbery mouth on my special chew!  This chew also lasted a few weeks, which is a long time for me.

Another great tip my pals at K9 Highland Dog Chews told me is that if your pup has sensitive teeth, you can put your chew in the microware for 20-30 seconds and then let it cool.  The heat will make the chew expand, but it will make it softer for our teeth.  Plus, it will make the bone smell even cheesier which will make us go crazy for it!   Mom put mine in the microwave when I got near the end to expand it and make it bigger again.
