Westie Wednesdays – Chuck

Written by Rachel Phelps

Welcome to a new feature of   Every Wednesday we are going to feature a West Highland White Terrier that need their forever home.  This month we are featuring Westies  from the DogTime adoption network.

Chuck is approx. 3 yr. old and is a Westie type of mix, we believe.  Chuck looks a lot like a Westie in size and hair type but you can tell that he is a mix.  Chuck was given to us by a woman who was moving and could not take him with her. Chuck’s owner said that Chuck loves to play and loves toys!!  She crated him at night but kept him outdoors during the day.  So, Chuck will need supervision in housetraining when out of the crate.  His owner also said that her fence was not in great condition and Chuck escaped from time to time to go for a jaunt around the neighborhood.  If you are interested in Chuck, PLEASE make sure you have a secure fence around the bottom!!  If you are interested in Chuck, please call the Amarillo SPCA at 806-622-0555 or visit the shelter at 11901 S. Coulter.
