Amazing Pet Expos

Amazing Orlando Pet Expo is TODAY #amazingpetexpo

Written by Rachel Phelps

I am so sad I won’t be in  Orlando this weekend (but mom said we will be hitting the roads soon to be at many of the Amazing Expos with DogTipper.com and CatTipper.com).  But if you live anywhere close to Orlando Florida you HAVE to go to the Amazing Pet Expo tomorrow and report back to us about what you think!

The City Beautiful will begin November by celebrating the beauty of our furry, finned and feathered friends at the Orlando Pet Expo.

Celebrity Spotting

  • Promoting a positive image of dogs who have been badgered by prejudice, Shorty Rossi and his canine companion Hercules from the Animal Planet series Pit Boss will make a ‘Pit’ stop at the expo to pose for pictures, sign autographs and educate the public about the injustice of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) with an informative talk and Q&A.

Activities

  • Cheer for the skilled Spots who weave through an obstacle course during demonstrations, then learn how to teach your tail-wagging chum dog agility moves with the help of professional trainers at My Dog Can Do That!
  • Clever canines can wow the crowd with their abilities in the pet talent contest.
  • Dogs in duds will vie for a prize in the pet costume contest.
  • A happening with heart, the expo will host a mega-adoption event with adorable adoptables from area rescues.
  • A day of free fun for the whole family (Fido included!), the Orlando Pet Expo will also feature vendor booths brimming with pet-related merchandise; discounted vaccinations, microchipping and heartworm and flea preventatives; prize giveaways and much more!

When: November 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Central Florida Fairgrounds at 4603 West Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida
