BarkWorld is in a two weeks! Are you attending?

Written by Rachel Phelps

I can’t believe it!  BarkWorld is only fifteenth days away (October 25-27th in Atlanta, Georgia).  I am so excited!  I am getting ready, setting aside my favorite chew sticks to bring, and on Monday I am even got my hair done just for the occasion! You know I must LOVE BarkWorld to agree to a bath!

I have some exciting news to share with you!

MeowWorld!

Yes, you read that right.  We can’t leave the kitty cats out, so this year, a special area (and a special breakfast) is set aside for you cats and your rents.  Don’t worry, us dogs won’t bother you in your special area … I promise!  What is even better, is that you get you own SPECIAL swag bag full of stuff just for you felines.  I could have kept this a secret, but I didn’t.  Now you cats can’t say a dog never did anything nice for you … hehehe.

Howl-O-Ween Charity Party

Oh my dog!  I totally can’t wait for this!  After the opening session, we will all be kicking up our paws and having one big Howl-O-Ween party!  The Atlanta Dog Spa will be sponsoring the event.  There will be a red carpet for us dogs and cats to show off our costumes.  Also, we will have a chance to win prizes as well (hint, hint, hey judges, pick me … you will LOVE my costume!).  There will also be a photo booth, DJ, food, drinks, and a few surprises I am not at liberty to reveal.  I have been planning my costume for a while and have sent Mom all over the country looking for it … ok not really, but she did go to the next state over to go shopping (we live on the state line).  My brother Elvis is also going to dress up as well.  So, if for nothing else, you have to come to BarkWorld to see what we will be wearing!

Genius Squad

Not everyone is as lucky as me to have a Mom and Dad with Computer Science degrees to help me out when I get in a pickle with my blog.  Never fear, BarkWorld is coming to your rescue.  Red Clay Interactive is hosting the Genius Squad bar.  They will be there to help, answer your questions, and show you how to “trick out” your blog with the latest bells and whistles.  Bring your toughest questions and pick their brains!

So … if you haven’t made plans yet to attend this years BarkWorld, you’re RUNNING OUT OF TIME.  Go here to purchase your ticket today: http://barkworld2012.eventbrite.com/?ref=ecount
