Due to recent events, PrestonSpeaks.com would like to publicly state that we are no longer affiliated with the Owensboro Humane Society in any capacity.
In addition, we no longer run their Facebook or website since June 1st and have had NO part in the campaign they are currently conducting towards our local government agencies and elected officials regarding the death of a dog named Booger. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Boogers life, but with our background in public administration, we know it can get very complicated trying to seize an animal in a state with weak animal laws like Kentucky.
We sincerely hope that Booger’s life was not in vain. We also hope this will be a call to action for different animals groups in our community to FINALLY look past their personal vendettas and come together to make a change in our state’s laws so that no more dogs like Booger will have to die.
