Travel Calm Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

Written by Rachel Phelps

It is cyber Monday so that means you people get just as crazy as you do on Black Friday with shopping but just on your computer! hehehe. Today ,I wanted to focus my review on a product that you can buy on the Internet call Travel Calm from EarthHeart. This unique product was designed to help calm us dogs down in stressful situations. One good example is when we have to travel. It is the holiday season and many of you humans take us fur children with you to family holiday festivities. So your probably wondering is in this magic spray, drugs to knock us out (so just kidding)? Nope, only natural ingredients in a aromatherapy mist. The bottle says it has Water, polysorbate 20; pure essential oils of bergamot, tangerine, lavender, ginger, geranium, ylang ylang, marjoram; potassium sorbate.

Granted, I love to travel except when mom is driving. Yes I did write that, mom scares me (both mom and dad tells me she is a good driver..but I just don’t know). I only feel safe if I am in her lap. Which you all know is a big no no..dogs never ride in the drivers lap. Now I must admit I did get off on a rocky start with the product. Mom grabbed my front legs lifted me up and spayed right on my belly. That freaked me out. So note if you win the giveaway or purchase a bottle DON’T do this. I got very upset so needless to say I wasn’t calm. Next time mom sprayed it on her hands and then massaged it on my belly and on the tips of my ears. Then we went off in the car. mom says I was much calmer and laid down in the back seat and didn’t fight my doggie seat belt as we went to see my grandparents.

  • We are not doing the traveling this year–the travelers are coming to us! We could use this spray for my cats so they don’t get freaked out by all the new “intruders” on their turf.

  • Oh, we are going to a dinner at a friend’s place. Anytime we go there Abby is obsessed with the window which unfortunately has vertical blinds. Keeping her calm there is always a challenge 🙁

We’re not traveling far. But another good test would be for all the illegal fireworks we’ll have here for the time between Christmas and New Year Day! My older Westie gets so freaked out.

    Hope we win! 🙂

  • No traveling for any of us this year. But, I would love to see if this would help with my Brittany’s anxiety in the car. He pants and just trembles, poor thing!

  • My Bea is not traveling over the holidays but does get excited when storms come through. Perhaps this would be good for that?

    • Debbie the spray can also be used to help calm down dogs during stressful times as well such as during a storm or when all the family is over for Christmas, etc.

  • Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest. Travel Calm and Canine Calm are somewhat interchangeable – some people use Canine Calm for travel because their dogs don’t experience tummy upset, and others use Travel Calm for general nervousnee because they like the earthier scent. Best wishes for a happy healthy holiday season.
