“Behind the Paw”

Written by Rachel Phelps

We are so excited for mom she got invited to attend the Procter & Gamble Company’s Pet Care: Influencer Summit in Dayton, Ohio May 15th – 17th. She will get to tour the famous Pet Health and Nutrition Center where they develop new products and see one of the manufacturing plant. I told her she will in doggie heaven. Dog food being made everywhere. I can only image the great smells of food drifting throughout the plant..Ok I’m hungry now BOL!

She will also get to meet some of the leadership team at Iams and Eukanuba such as marketing, research and development, nutritionists, behaviorist, as well as some members of the leadership team. Mom says since she works in a plant environment she is very interested in seeing how other manufacturing companies operate. I told her that is all fine and dandy but her mission from Elvis and I is to collect as many treats to bring back home for us as possible BOL.

But we need your help she will have an opportunity to ask the P&G powers to be some questions on behalf of our readers. So please list any questions you have below and I’ll make sure mom gets the answers for you! Please post below before May 15th.

  • Could you ask if they have any plans to take the corn and corn by products out of their foods? Corn is an allergen to many breeds (my own westies are allergic) but it’s also shown to be hard to digest for dogs too. Thanks!

  • Wendy,

Great question! We have problems with westie allergies as well with some of the foster dogs so I’ll make mom ask for sure!

    Your Pal,
    Preston
