Dogs for the Paws

Written by Rachel Phelps

I had the honor of meeting Ms. Annamarie “Missy” Johnson at Barkworld and learned about her amazing year long project to promote dog rescues. Her organization Dogs for the Paws is celebrating their one year anniversary this week and the completion of her year long mission to paint 80 rescue dogs from and share their stories through art. This project shows off very special dogs and hopefully through their inspiring stories people will consider visiting rescues and shelters when considering adding a new doggie (or a cat if you insist!) to their family. Here are some of the beautiful artwork!

But check out her website at www.dogsforthepaws.blogspot.com/

Missy is an amazing artist and she even drew me at Barkworld. What do you think? Don’t I look happy hehehehe
