Fathers Day

Written by Rachel Phelps

Since here in the US we recently celebrated Fathers Day I thought it was only fitting to write about my puppy daddy. I have benn lucky enough to have a forever home with a wonderful mommy and daddy who have loved me ever since I was 6 weeks old. My daddy is strong and tall and isn’t as mushy as my mommy is. He is my friend, my playmate who loves to play games with me, and when he has to be he can keep me in line as well. Its one thing for mommy to say Preston Peabody (I know I’m in trouble when they use my middle name) but if daddy yells Preston get over here now oh boy I’m in big doggie doo-doo! I might as well go ahead and just go to the crate because that’s better then having to go over to daddy and see how disappointed he is in me.

If I’m going somewhere with daddy I don’t have to wear a shirt or get my hair brushed. He doesn’t care if I look cute or not. He lets me go to get the Sunday paper and even takes me to a local restaurant where I see my friend who gives me bacon every Saturday! He also gives me dinner each night and even mixes up my dry and moist food to make it just right. Finally he always makes sure I have my “last chance” potty ever night before I go to sleep.

So I want to wish my daddy Happy Fathers Day and I wanted to let the world know my daddy is the best!
