The HOUSTON PET EXPO is Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 10AM to 6PM, located INDOORS at the beautiful RELIANT CENTER with FREE admission.

Celebrity Spotting
- Doggedly devoted reality personality Shorty Rossi (and Hercules!) from the hit Animal Planet series Pit Boss will welcome attendees to the expo, meet with fans and discuss animal activism and talk his passion for rescuing dogs who are often hounded by prejudice.
- Celebrity pet expert Harrison Forbes will share tips about canine and cat comportment derived from 20 years of experience in animal behavior.

- Test your knowledge of pet-themed music during Dog Karaoke for a chance to win a year’s supply of Natural Balance pet food.

- Both the young and the young at heart will enjoy a ventriloquist and comedy show from Rob Hartley, the author of For the Love of My Pet. The entertainer will also demonstrate how to make a pet puppet and share tips for tapping into your own talent if you are interested in writing books for children.
- Fashionable Fidos and felines will dress up in duds for a chance to win the Pet Costume Contest.
- Spots can show off their skills in the Animals Got Talent! competition.
- Pups can pucker up as national pet lifestyle expert Eileen Proctor goes in search of America’s Smoochiest Pooch.
- Pet parents can mull over merchandise and find out about pet-related services at more than 150 exhibitor booths.
