Meet Abe an Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix

Abe - Lucky Dog RescueHello There! My name is Abe and I am a Australian Shepherd and Rottweiler mix. I weigh in at 55 pounds and I am about 1.5 years old. I was found running the streets with a dog that had a collar and tags. Lucky for me some good folks stopped to help us thinking I belonged with the other dog. But we were just street friends and he had accidentally gotten away from his people. I sat at the back gate of my finders house until they finally let me in. I have learned that persistence will take you places…like to a warm, loving home with regular meals and long walks. I get along well with other dogs but it takes me a minute to adjust to new places. I love people more than anything! I need a home that can provide structure and lots and lots of love.

Meet Eddie a Wirehaired Terrier Mix

Eddie - Lucky Dog RescueHello, my name is Eddie.  For awhile people were calling me the church mouse because I was hiding at a church and I was so scared that I wouldn’t let anybody near me.  I scampered off just like a mouse.  I am a  1 year old, 12 pound wire haired terrier mix.

Since being captured, I feel so safe and secure and loved.  I have a warm house and bed to sleep in with a very kind lady that takes really good care of me.  She loves to watch me run about because I prance like a little dear deer.  And I make everyone laugh because one ear stands up and one stays down.  They say it adds to my charm.

I am very good with cats and dogs and I am a calm, cool and collected love-muffin.

So stop byLucky Dog Rescue booth at the Houston Pet Expo and say Preston sent you!
