Amazing Pet Expos

Tampa Bay Pet Expo is TODAY (3/23) #amazingpetexpo

Written by Rachel Phelps

Floridians who love Fidos and felines are invited to enjoy a day filled with dogged devotion for all our four-legged friends at the Tampa Bay Pet Expo.

Celebrity Spotting

  • Animal Planet personality Shorty Rossi (and Hercules!) from the hit series Pit Boss will meet with fans and talk about his passion for rescuing Rovers who are often hounded by prejudice.
  • Sharing his two decades of experience in animal behavior, celebrity pet expert Harrison Forbes will host a Q&A session.

Activities

  • Cheer for feats of doggie dexterity as talented tail-waggers wow the crowd during an agility demonstration. Following the demo, there will be a Q&A session and one lucky person and their pup will have the chance to try out the course.
  • Fans of Fidos will jump for joy as they watch the Ultimate Air Dogs. From the tiniest tail-wagger to the biggest barkers, all canines who can swim are encouraged to give the sport a try.
  • Dogs in disguise will vie for a prize during the Pet Costume Contest.
  • Spots can show off their skills at the Animals Got Talent! competition.
  • Pet parents can browse among more than 115 exhibitor booths brimming with pet products and information regarding pet-related services.
  • Discounted vaccinations, microchipping and heartworm and flea preventatives.
  • Free nail trims for Fidos.
  • A gathering for a good cause, potential pet parents can meet adorable adoptables from area rescue groups as Tampa Bay Pet Expo hosts a mega adoption event.
