I Checked out the GMC Terrain!

Written by Rachel Phelps

Yesterday Mommy, Daddy, and I went to go check out a GMC Terrain to see what we would be taking to Barkworld in a few days.  Oh boy what a nice SUV!  After checking it out and posing for some photos it got me thinking about what would I do if I had my very own GMC Terrain to get around in.

  1. Kick (Mark) the tires – If I had my very own Terrain I first have to make sure the other doggies know it is mine so what does every self respecting male dog do..he marks his stuff of course!  But seriously what a nice looking vehicle!  I love that it has the room and storage of a SUV but looks small and compact.  The designers really thought of everything when they dreamed up this vehicle.  It seats five people but almost all the seats go into the floorboards so you can transport large items with no problems like my crate.
  2. I would feel the air on my face—Another doggie thing.. We love sticking our heads out the windows  (well until a bug hits us..yuck!)  This Terrain has the speed and motor  for a dog to really have fun and be “king of the road!”  You can pick a 182 hp 2.4L 4 cylinder or a 264 hp 3.0L 6-cylinder engine.
  3. Play some rocking music!   — Since I’m part of the twitter band “The WestATudes” I would turn up the base and play our own music on the excellence sound system already built in. There is even a standard USB port that you can directly connect your I-pod or even a memory stick.   You’re probably wondering what other types of music does a  Westie like?  I like “Who Let the Dogs Out” and “Nothing But a Hound Dog” of course!
  4. Safety is so important! – Even though us doggies like to have fun we still want to get where we are going safely and the GMC Terrain takes care of us.  There is a standard rear vision camera to help us be on the look out for dogs behind us as we backup.  It also has road side assistance so if we do run into problems we aren’t stuck on the side of the road.
  5. Take a nap! — I love sleeping on road trips and this SUV is made for my comfort!  It is very spacious inside and there is plenty of leg room for you humans .  It has more leg room than any other vehicles in its class!

I can’t wait until Thursday when I am a part of the GMC bark N ride and get to try out this SUV.  Don’t worry GMC I won’t mark the tires!  I know we only have it for the weekend but I can’t promise I won’t stick my head out the window hehehe.
