As an Amazing Pet Expo official blog ambassador we learn about wonderful animal rescue organizations that will be at upcoming shows. Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue is one of those that will be at the Greater New York Pet Expo show on May 4th at the Nassau Coliseum from 10 am – 6 pm with great animals available for adoption.

About the Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue

The mission of the Heavenly Angels Animal Shelter is to facilitate the placement of animals from puppy mills, owner surrenders, high kill shelters, or just abandoned and place them in desirable loving homes; Until then, we will provide and maintain a shelter for them and provide food, shelter and health care. All of our animals are spay/neutered .The animals in our care, are our guests, and are never euthanized merely because we lack space or because the animal’s stay with us has exceeded a predefined amount of time.

Meet Darwin a Russian Blue Cat

Any Russian Blue lovers out there? Darwin is available for adoption. He was an owner surrender. Darwin is a sweet, friendly cat who is 6 years old. He likes getting petted under the chin or behind the ears…either way he is not complaining…lol. Darwin has sleek beautiful blue fur which is easy to maintain. He is required to ONLY eat canned wet food due to a blockage years ago caused by dry food. This is great because it cuts your spending in half. 🙂

Ollie is a puppy Beagle/Hound Mix

Ollie is a 5 week old puppy who came from down south with his siblings and mother Jilly who is also up for adoption. He is not ready to go to a home just yet.
