The @Nutrish Adventures of Preston the Elf

Nutrish with Elf Preston
Written by Rachel Phelps

I’m a Nutrish dog food influencer.  That means I am spreading the word about how awesome Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food is and why us dogs should want to eat it.  I have spread this message to dogs and their owners all over the US while participating in several community outreach events.

However, I realized that I should also get the word out to my dog pals and their owners that live in my own town.  I wish I could say that all of us dogs in my community are best friends, but unfortunately our owners are busy and we only get to say woof when we go on our daily walks.  Plus, I travel a lot, so I am not always around.  When I go out to potty throughout the day I do a lot of barking back and forth with other dogs within ear shot.  Mom says that is rude, but I tell her I’m just saying hi!

Nutrish Christmas BoxSo I came up with a plan to deliver awesome Nutrish goody boxes to all my dog neighbors.  We made some ball ornaments decorated with bones for their trees, put some PrestonSpeaks.com swag items in it, and some awesome coupons for Nutrish food and treats.  We decorated the box all holiday-ish and even put a big red bow on the top.

What?  You haven’t heard of Nutrish?  It is a super premium dog food made with simple natural ingredients.  Did you know that Nutrish is actually made by Rachael Ray?  … well, not in her TV kitchen, but you get the idea.  She also donates the proceeds from the sales of the food to help do great things for rescues across the country.

Nutrish Elf PrestonUnfortunately, my gifting adventure took a sudden turn before we even got started.  Right when we were loading up the car, Mom pulls a ridiculous costume out of the closet.  Yes, you guessed it, she had an elf costume … complete with a hat for me to wear.  The hat even had elf ears (like my ears don’t look elfish already)!  I admit, I wear a lot of silly outfits from time to time, but never in my own neighborhood.  These dogs will never let me live it down.  On a positive note though, all the owners thought I was the cutest thing ever.

We started by delivering to our neighbors and we walked all over our subdivision dropping off our Nutrish goody boxes.  It was fun.  I had a nice long walk and was able to go up to all these front doors and sniff new smells .

Nutrish Elf PrestonThen, we took to the car.  We drove all over town to houses of my dog pals and dropped off more boxes.  The stop I am most proud of is Percy and Tilly’s house. They are two westies and I managed to sneak up to their front porch and they DIDN’T even know I was even there!  I can be a sneaky Westie when I want to be!

Unfortunately, I am sad I couldn’t make it to all your homes to leave a present.  I don’t have a sleigh and reindeer to help me get around like Santa.  So instead, here is your very own spiffy coupon for your pups to try out Nutrish: Nutrish Coupon

Your Pal,
