Doing product reviews on dog treats is the best! What is there not to love when I get to bark at the mailman or the UPS driver when they give Mom a package? What is even better is when she opens it up and it is something for me!
Recently, a company called “Loving Pets” sent us some gourmet pork and duck meat sticks to taste test. Loving Pets meat sticks are all made and packaged in the USA and are made from 100% all-natural meats and a touch of sweet potato. According to the company, each treat is naturally seared over a hot grill to seal in that oh so wonderful juicy flavor we love! These treats are very easy to chew (for those old dogs with doggie dentures … hehehe … have you seem those commercials? It makes Mom laugh every time.) and they are smaller so the little toy dogs can still bite off a piece. Mom asked why it had sweet potatoes and they said it softens the treat but also gives us Bata-carotene, Vitamins A, C, and Chondroitin. I honestly have no idea what all those big words mean but Mom says it is good for us and keeps our joints healthy.
Let me fill you in on a secret. Before Mom lets me try out anything for my blog, I have to do a photo shoot with the product. Well, Mom messed up. After we finished, she forgot to put up the treat bags and the cats got into the duck one. It had cat teeth marks all over the bag! The cats had a good old time trying to eat the gourmet meat sticks. Even with cat spit and teeth marks on the treats, I still liked the duck sticks. I was able to try out the pork ones in their intended format and they were also delicious. Elvis liked them too. Lol, thanks for sharing your review! I’ve been seeing these treats all over the internet and I’ve been wondering about getting them for Bender. He’s rather finicky about his treats. We’ll probably go with the Beef ones, Bender tends to turn his nose on the Duck or Lamb treats, lol!
