Owensboro dog days at the park- (6/12)

Written by Rachel Phelps

Attention all dogs tell your owners to get out their planners and mark June 12th.  It is DOG DAYS AT THE PARK!!  Oh boy, oh boy. I  am so excited. Last year was so much fun.  I met alot of nice dogs and their owners. I was only a puppy so I didn’t do any of the contests but I did win a HUGE bag of doggie treats I guess just for being cute!  We had a doggie walk , a costume contest and even a best trick winner. So come on down to Legion park and meet me Preston.  Since there isn’t too many westies in this town I have a feeling it will be easy to spot me. And if you really want I’ll even sign an autograph since i know you want one from your favorite blogger.  hehehe. Here is a photo of my from last year with my bandanna on.

P.S. Bring a bag of dog food to donate to a local shelter.

Owensboro Parks and Recreation On Saturday, June 12, from 9:30-11 a.m., gather your four-legged friends and enjoy a day at Legion Park with the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department. We will also host best dressed, best trick, doggie obstacle course, and owner/pet look a like contests. Pet Food Center professionals will be on site to answer questions and give tips. S.P.A.R.K.Y. will also have animals available for adoption.
